It isn’t hard to grow up into a responsible member of society. I can well remember an incident that happened on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was on my way to the bookstore and was waiting for the green light at a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked down by a passing car, which drove off quickly. A man immediately rushed to the girl to give her first aid and I joined in without hesitation. Luckily she was not badly injured and we sent her to the nearest hospital. Compared with the escaped driver, I am proud of what I did. As a member of the society, I am aware that being responsible is what it takes to make a better society. 【亮点说明】joined in、 knocked down、without hesitation、 drove off 、Compared with 、am proud of 等短语使文章更生动; It isn’t hard to grow up……..It做形式主语提前 。… an incident that happened on a rainy Sunday afternoon.中that引导的定语从句an incident 作为that的先行词,that后面的部分是对incident的描述。I was on my way … at a crossing when a girl of about ten was knocked down by a passing car, which drove off quickly. a girl of about ten was knocked down、 she was not badly injured Compared with the escaped driver, I am proud of what I did. I am proud of what I did.

Most families in China hoped their single children will have a happy future, so they are very strict in their children. So do teachers in schools! Many children are given so much homework that they have hardly any spare time have sports. The children are forbidden to do anything but to study. No wonder so many children are tired with lessons. Some even attack or kill his parents and teachers! I believe many people already read this kind of news in newspapers or magazines. Shouldn’t we draw lesson from the accidents?
