I live in the country and my father was a farmer. He is now forty-five year old. Because of years of hard work, he looks old than his age. When I was young, he is used to tell me the important of study. Father knows little about English and other subjects, but he usually gives me some good advices on how to learn his lessons good. He is not only kind to me but also very strict in me. With his help, I’ve made great progress. I’ll never forget what he taught me. I think my father is best father in the world.

1.was 改为 is。 2. 第一个year改为years。 3. old 改为 older。 4. 去掉is。比较:used to=过去经常,be used to=习惯于。 7.his-----my 8. good 改为 well。 9. in 改为 with。be strict in后接某事,be strict with后接某人。 10. best 前加 the。 Used to do sth. good 改为 well。 in 改为 with。be strict in后接某事,be strict with后接某人。 best 前加 the。 Lily is at work.   I am a teacher.   We have a very good relationship with our parents.  2. 如:  ( To talk about activities that we repeat regularly, such as  routines, habits ) My father goes to work by bike every day. I always leave home for school at 6:30 3. She loves to  get together with her friends.  Ann Wang writes good English but does not speak well 4. Sunday is the first day of the week. Shanghai lies in the east of China.  The earth moves around the sun.

It was a quiet village in which there was a military camp(军营).It was far from the towns and cities and there were some high mountains around. Of course it was a good place for training the new soldiers. But it was difficult for the young men to go outside. Mr White, an officer of forty, was strict with them and he hardly let them leave the camp.

Once Mr White was ill in bed. He couldn’t work and a young officer, Mr Hunt began to train the new soldiers instead of him. He knew the young men well and let nine soldiers go to the nearest town to have a holiday. But night fell and none came back to the camp. He was worried about it and stood at the gate.
