I still remember that night after my senior high school entrance examination. Even though I was at the top of my class , I was not good in history. Janine Licare was only nine years old when she decided to take action. She was worried because the rainforest around the home in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, was disappearing too. So, together with a friend, Janine started a movement called Kids Saving the Rainforest(KSTR). They opened a store to sell their self-made painted rocks as well as the work of local artists and craftspeople. All of the store’s profits(收益)go toward saving rainforest land , protecting baby animals , and educating people around the world about the connection between humans and nature.
