Not got any experience?
Everyone has to get a first job, and you can big up your transferable (可转换的) skills on your CV. If the job description asks for “Excellent communication skills” or “ Organizational skills”, you can mention occasions when you had to use these skills, e.g. being a monitor or getting all your coursework in on time.
The interview
If an employer rates your CV/application form, you’ll be invited to an interview. The general rules of interviews are:
* Dress a little smarter than those who do the job already.
* Turn up on time.
* Greet the person who’s interviewing you by name: “Hi Joe/Mr Smith (depending on which you’d think they prefer), nice to meet you”.
* Tell the truth.
* Think about what questions you’ll be asked and prepare your answers in advance.

The game of rugby football was played at Rugby School between 1750 and 1859, but players were not allowed to run with it in their hands towards the other side’s goal. With no limit to the number of players per side, hundreds would participate in it, sometimes resulting in major injuries. The innovation(创新) of running with the ball was introduced between 1859 and 1865. Trapped under ruins after the Iran earthquake, Dan Woolley believed he was going to die. But rather than giving up, the film-maker managed to look up ways to treat his injuries on his iPhone beneath the earth. He also wrote a moving diary for his family, allowing them to read his last messages of love and comforting them after his death. Mr Woolley used a small black notebook to write messages to his family, including his son and wife. He had thought his relatives would read them after he was dead.
“ I was in a big accident. Don’t be upset at God,” he wrote. “ I’m still praying that God will get me out, but he may not. But he will always take care of you.”
Mr Woolley was eventually rescued by a French rescue team. After being flown to Miami for surgery, he said, “I cried. At that time I wanted to use that time to do everything I could for my family. I always wanted to survive, but I knew that was something that I couldn’t control.”
