Many years ago a poor man grew a orange tree,on that there were many fine oranges. One day he found one of it was as big as a football. He took it to the king. The king was such happy that he gave the  poor man lots money. When a rich man heard of it, he said for himself, “I’ll take my gold cup to the king  and he will give me many money.  The next day the king received from the cup. The king was very fond of the cup and he told the rich man, “I have an orange. It’s beautiful than the cup, so I decide to give it to you as the reward instead of money.

1.orange前加an 2. that改为which 3. it改为them 4. such改为so 5. money 前加of 6. for改为to 7. moneys改为money 8. from去掉 9. beautiful 前加more 10. decide改为decided 【解析】1. 因为上一句话说是“many fine oranges”,此处指许多橘子中的一个,应用one of them。 4.考察so和such的辨析。 say to sb + 直接引语,因此把for改为to。 7.考察much和many的辨析。 so是副词,可修饰形容词或副词,在用法上,so+adj/adv+a/an+单数名词+that+从句。例如,so lovely a girl that ;so beautiful flowers that。 例如,such an interesting story that,such clever that。 此处是The king was ______ happy that,根据辨析可以看到,应用so来修饰happy。
