Several months ago, I attended the opening event for a new children's literacy(读写能力) campaign at the Burbank Library in California. With these increased pressures and difficulty in ensuring a graduate job, more people are turning to recruitment(招聘) agencies for help. We Chat, the Chinese social media smartphone app, saw an increase in user numbers of 41 per cent year on year to 500m at the end of 2014, in a sign that parent company Tencent is extending(拓展) its reach for the mobile internet.
