I went out to breakfast this morning to meet a friend. It was lovely, _______ what wasn’t so lovely was the lady who took our order.
I noticed she spoke in a way that was _______ , certainly not friendly, and kind of rude(粗鲁的).When it came to _______ turn to order, I thought to myself, “What can I do here to make her happy, to make her _______?” Surely there must be something I can sincerely compliment(赞美)her on. Then there it was and I knew at once.
