Dear Patrick,

Thank you for sharing your problems to me. You stay up late every day. It is a common problem for a Grade 9 student. I think a best way to solve it is to manage your time carefully. Try to finish some homework during lunchtime at school instead of play basketball, and then you can go to bed a little early at night.Maybe too much noise at home is other reason that makes you stay up late. Your grandfather keeps the TV very loud because his hearing (听力) are not very good. How about losing your bedroom door when you study outside? Or perhaps you can talk him about your problem. I am sure he loves you very much that he will listen to you.I hope you think my advice is worth take .

Best wishes,

Ivan

1. with 2. the 3.playing 4.earlier 5. another 6. is 7. inside 8. tell 9. so 10. taking 【解析】 本文是Ivan写给Patrick的一封信,信中Ivan就Patrick提出的熬夜问题作了回复并提出建议。 1. 根据句意可知,此句是与某人分享某物share sth with sb,故to改为with。 2. 根据句意可知,此句是固定搭配the best way to do sth做某事的最好方法,最高级前用the。故a改为the。 3. 故other改为another。 6. 故are改为is。 7. 根据句意,可知是告诉某人某事,用tell sb about sth而不是talk sb about sth,又因用在情态动词can之后,所以用原形tell。故talk改为tell。 9. 根据句意和后面的that,that之前是much,可知本句是so…that…
