Dear students,

After all your hard work on the homework on the history of this city, we have decided to visit the Maritime Museum. Here we are going to have a tour and learn about the sea and river in our city. We are going to meet a guide who will show us around the museum. Please make sure you read the information I have given you for homework, as our guide will ask you some questions. We will also get the chance (机会) to go inside a 200-year-old trading boat. This boat is very famous. After visiting the museum, we’ll enjoy a beautiful boat trip along the river near the museum.

The trip is from 10:00 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. on May 25th. And you can return home as soon as we get back to school. Here is the day’s timetable (时间表):

10:00 a.m.: Meet at the front of the school.

10:15 a.m.: Walk to the station to catch the train to the museum.

10:45 a.m.: Meet our guide — visit the museum and boat.

11:45 a.m.: Free time to see the rest (其余部分) of the museum.

12:30 p.m.: Lunch (one hour).

1:30 p.m.: Meet me at the front of the museum. (Don’t be late!)

1:45 p.m.: Boat trip on the river.

2:15 p.m.: Walk back to school.

Please make sure that you are at school on time. The school is paying for the trip. All you have to bring is your lunch, water, a camera, pencil or pen, good shoes and an umbrella in case it rains.
