I’m David. When I grow up, I want to be ...

I’m David. When I grow up, I want to be a car engineer. I want a job in a big car company.  At first I wanted to be an actor. But then I thought about how much I like cars, I really, really like them. I don't know why. I just do.

It’s very hard to find a good place in my city to study car design. Luckily, I found one. It is a university in New York. It teaches students something about the design of all types of transportation. After finishing high school, I planned to go there.

What do I need to get ready for this university? I need to study art, physics and math well. I also need to be good at drawing. I like drawing, but it’s not my favorite hobby. I think I’ll have to be good at it if I want to be a car engineer.

Now I have some money for my study. But it’s expensive to study in the university. I will have to pay over ﹩80,000 for the study. I will really need to win a schol arship.(奖学金)

The yellow school bus is a familiar sight all over North America. It is a very convenient form of transportation because it takes students right to the entrance to the school. It also gives students opportunity to chat with their friends. However, the bus is slow and does not always pick up on time.

The subway is a means of getting around quickly in many cities. However, it is expensive and can be very crowded during rush hour.
