Tomorrow I Will Do Sports Tomorrow is a new beginning. I have planned for my health. Because I am fat, in order to keep slim,I will do sports every day. After I get up early,I will run for half an hour. Then I will go to school.I have eight lessons a day. After school,I will play basketball with my friends on the playground. After that,I will walk home.On weekends,I will ride a bike with my friends. 【解析】 试题分析:短文叙述的是以后的打算,所以句子用一般将来时,因为叙述的是自己的计划,所以句子的主语用第一人称,句子的时态用一般将来时。要注意上下文的衔接,不要出现语法错误。 写作亮点:短文用了一些短语和句式,如: in order to为了;get up起床;play basketball with sb和某人一起打篮球;on the playground在操场; walk home走着回家;ride a bike骑自行车。用了then, after then连接词,使短文衔接的很好。 考点:话题作文。

When I was about 12, I had an enemy, a girl who liked to point out my shortcomings. Sometimes she said I was thin. Sometimes she said I was lazy. Sometimes she said I wasn’t a good student. Sometimes she said I talked too much, and so on. I tried to stand her as long as I could. At last, I became very angry. I ran to my father with tears in my eyes.

He listened to me quietly, and then he asked, “Are the things she said true or not? Mary, didn’t you ever wonder what you’re really like? Go and make a list of everything she said and mark(标记) the points(点) that are true. Pay no attention to the other things she said.”

I did as he told me and to my surprise, I discovered that about half the things were true.

I brought the list back to my dad. He refused to take it. “That’s just for you,” he said. “You know better than anyone else the truth about yourself. When something said about you is true, you’ll find it will be helpful to you. Don’t shut your ears. Listen to them all, but hear the truth and do what you think is right.”

Dear Amy,

I couldn’t read your two e-mails until today because my computer was broken. I’m so sorry to hear about your problem, but I’m glad you’re feeling better and are recovering(康复). I’m surprised that in China someone’s liver(肝脏) matched(适合) yours! This is really a moving story—a stranger donated part of his liver to a girl he doesn’t even know!

You’re right. We shouldn’t care too much about our weight. I’m happy you stopped taking medicine to lose weight. From your photo I can see you are now looking very well in the hospital. To keep slim(苗条) is important, especially for an actress, but nothing is more important than health. Your doctor’s advice is really very good—exercise for at least half an hour every day and eat lots of fruit and vegetables.

It’s not only in your country. It’s the same here with us Chinese—many people are always taking medicine to lose weight. That is often dangerous. But in fact, some of them are not overweight(超重) at all. I hope these people can learn something from your story. Hope you will leave hospital as soon as possible.

Love
