How I’ve changed! My life has changed a lot in the past three years. I was weak and short when I came to the middle school. I used to hate taking P.E class. I didn’t use to read a lot of books. I used to be interested in computer games and I spent much time on it. My parents were worried about me. Now, I like sports and I often play basketball with my classmates after school. So I become taller and stronger than before. I like reading, too. I read at least six books a year. Good habits help me to study better and keep healthier. My parents and my teachers are both pleased with me. Used to do与used to be运用准确,be interested in, spend some time on, be worried about等等结构运用恰当。第二段主要介绍现在的情况,与第一段形成鲜明的对比。短文层次清楚,条理分明。主题鲜明,中心突出。是一篇较好的习作范文。 考点:考查话题作文。

It could be an ordinary hotel room like any other one in the small town of Zwolle in the northeast of the Netherlands. Here, just like elsewhere, you can find a bed, mini-bar, bathrobes (浴衣) and two pairs of slippers. An exception, however, is the temperature, that reaches only a few degrees above zero in the room. Welcome to the first Dutch ice hotel!

“If you want to take a shower before you go to bed, make sure to dry your hair, or they can get frozen. Do not drink too much alcohol and do not eat any heavy food. Make sure to change into dry and warm clothes,” says hotel manger Annet van Limburg to the visitors.

There are three rooms in the hotel, the construction (建造) of which lasted ten days. Unlike similar projects, such as those in Canada or Sweden, the hotel is built inside a large freezer warehouse (仓库), not in the nature. The rooms, which are made of the giant block of ice, have a great double bed, colored with pink, green and blue light from lamps. And the ice walls are one meter thick.

The temperature in the room is between six to eight degrees Celsius. “If you are healthy, it is not dangerous,” says Annet van Limburg. However, if the guests during the night change their minds and want to leave the room, they can use the nearby hotels, where the hotel taxi takes them to for free.

Ice Hotel in Zwolle is unique (独特的) not only in the Netherlands, but it is also the first hotel of its kind on the south of Europe. If you are interested in spending the night in such an ice hotel, prepare €199 for one night with breakfast for two.

1.Where is the ice hotel? ____________________________

3.How long does it take to build the ice hotel?_______________________

4.If the guests at night want to leave the room, what can they do?__________________

5.How much will you spend for two nights in the ice hotel?____________________

Dragons are not real animals, but look like a combination (组合体) of many animals such as snakes, fish and deer. They have two horns (角) and a long moustache (胡子). With fantastic powers, they fly in the sky or swim in the sea. They can make rain, too. The Chinese dragon is a symbol of strength and good luck. The emperors of ancient China loved dragons. Their clothes were covered with pictures of dragons.
