The earth is our home, but it's getting dirtier and dirtier. Protecting the environment is protecting ourselves. Everybody should do something to protect the environment.

As students, we need to do some small things. For example, we should turn off the lights when we leave the rooms. We should try to ride our bikes to school instead of going by bus or by car, We should try not to throw rubbish everywhere. We are supposed to recycle waste paper and bottles or use them again for something else. We can bring a shopping basket instead of plastic bags. Also, we have to try to save water and electricity. We'd better call on young people to plant more trees in our neighborhoods so that the environment can become better than before.

If everyone gives a hand to save our environment, our world will become better and cleaner.
