On March 15, many people in the UK wore a plastic red nose. It wasn’t just for fun. They were also raising money to fight poverty (贫穷) in the UK and Africa.
This day is called Red Nose Day. It is a huge charity event in the UK every other year. On this day, people do something funny for money.
