Looking back at these past three years, I remember many things,trying to be on time for morning readings.Running when the lunch bell rings. I remember the excitement of the school sports day each year.The many hours of training ,pride of overcoming fear. I remember starting day one .The shiest in my whole class.never speaking to anyone and think i would not pass.Then slowly I made some new friends to remember forever.helping each other with homework getting better together. We had Sports Day at school on Saturday. I entered the 100 meters, 400 meters and high jump for older boys.

I didn’t win the 100 meters but I came in    .My friend Peter came in first.I really thought I was going to beat him.But he managed to run just a little bit    than me over the last 20 meters and broke the tape a fraction of a second before me.Next year,I’ll beat him!

I won the 400 meters.I think I am probably a better    at the longer distance.Next year,I might enter the 1,000 meters. To win the short distance races,you need to get a very good start.With the longer distance races,however,you have time to    if you get off to slow start.
