Last week, there were a lot of volunteer activities in our school. My friends and I took an active part in them.

I like reading so I went to an after-school study program. I helped kids read books and helped with their schoolwork. My friend Sally likes singing songs. She went to a hospital . She sang songs to cheer sick people up. She thought it was happy to make sike people happier .Julia likes animals. She went to an animal hospital to look after the animals. She also learned a lot about animals.

We all thought voluteer work was great. Not only did we feel good about helping people, but we got to spend time to do what we wanted to do.
