When people become rich, more and more cars can be found on the road. More people would like to go out by car. But things changed in 2016. Mobike, a company put its shared orange bikes onto the streets in Shanghai. Other coloured shared bikes soon followed. The sidewalks (人行道 )of the cities in China soon became colourful. More and more people started to go out by riding the shared bikes. They are convenient(方便的)!
In just one year, more than 10 million shared bikes from over 30 companies have been placed on the streets, and the population of the people using the bikes is about 100 million, according to a report from Xinhua News Agency.
Users can easily unlock (解锁)a shared bike by using their smart phones, and it's cheap to ride a shared bike in a short time. Also, people can easily find one bike and never worry about where to park it.

When I was small, my family was not rich. But my mum gave the family a funny special treat from time to time—she would make breakfast food for dinner.
I remember she did so one evening. She went back home after working hard for a whole day, but wanted to do something special for us all. But she made a mistake. She overburnt(烤过度) the toast(烤面包片). I saw her put a plate of eggs and the very burnt toast in front of my dad. I waited to see if anyone noticed. But my dad just took his toast and smiled at my mum. I remember watching him add butter to that toast. He ate it up as usual and said it tasted nice.
After dinner, I remember hearing my mum say sorry to my dad for burning the toast. I’ll never forget what he said, “Honey, I love burnt toast. It tastes nice.” Later that night, I went to kiss daddy good night. I asked him if he really liked his toast burnt. He wrapped(紧抱) me in his arms and said, “Your mommy worked very hard today. She’s really tired. And a bit of burnt toast never hurts anyone!”
I learnt a lot that day. Life is filled with imperfect(不完美的) things. Nobody is perfect, either. I’m not the best at anything. I couldn’t remember birthdays and other important things. But I’ve learned something important from my father. Nothing is as important as understanding(理解) in life. Remember, burnt toast never hurts anyone.
