One day, while my friend and I was traveling through Germany, we were not very hungry but we only had a little money. We decided stop at a village market to buy something to eat. We choose the cheapest biscuits and ate it under a tree. We thought the biscuits were great. “Let’s got some more,” I said, “They’re cheap and they really taste well.” My friend could read some German, and I couldn’t, so I gave her the biscuit bag to find the name. How to Make Friends

Friendship is a very important human relationship and everyone needs good friends.  Good friendship has many benefits.  It offers companionship, improves self-worth and promotes good health.  There are times in our lives such as when we have recently moved into a new town, or changed our jobs or schools.  Such changes often leaves us without a friend   71 .  But for many of us the process is difficult and requires courage.  Below are some helpful suggestions on how to make and keep friends.

1.  Associate with others.

The first step to making friends is associating with other people.  You can go to public places to meet new people.  Besides, you will need to make yourself known by becoming an active member of such places.

2.  Start a conversation

Starting a conversation is the second most important step in making new friends.  72   You can always start the conversation.  Being able to make small talk is a very useful skill in relating with other people.

The dream of flying into outer space, cherished by the Chinese people for centuries, will soon come true.

　　China launched its fourth unmanned spacecraft （飞船）“Shenzhou Ⅳ” on December 30 at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in Gansu Province. It was the 27th consecutive（连续的 ）and successful launch of China - made rockets since October 1996. This launch has made it more realistic for China to send a person into space on its own following Russia and the USA.
